How Drone Soccer Works
The specialized drones that are used in typical drone soccer matches are specially designed for rotative motion, speed and durability. They are equipped with propellers, sensors, outer cover named Penta guard. So far it has two sizes that are class 20 and class 40. Class 20 is used for training purpose or kids. Class 40 is used for professional matches and international level tournaments.
Field Setup
A drone soccer field is made inside a cage with designated boundaries with two goal posts. The class 40 dimension is 12 meters of length and 4 meters of width. There are 2-meter empty zone for pilot areas. There will be an electronic scoreboard beside the gaming area. Referee will monitor throughout the game. Total 10 players (each team 5 players) will play opposite to each other.
Gameplay
The main concept is to score as many goals in each set that is three minutes. Both teams have to compete each other through maneuvering the drone soccer balls.
